Fix: | A database alias is a pointer that tells Project Manager, Portfolio Analyst or Methodology Manager what type of database to access and where the database is located. Creating an alias:

Enter an alias name in the Database Alias field and select the database type in the Driver Type field. Valid options are Oracle, MS SQL, or Interbase. 6a. If you select Oracle, type the Oracle connect string and net protocol. To configure the driver setting, click the version of Oracle you are using.
